More Dynamic Range in GIMP
Exposure blend is a GIMP plugin which facilitates the process of creating contrast blended exposures. Contrast blending is a popular technique for getting more dynamic range from a set of bracketed images.

Save Polaroid Film!
For some reason I don't remember posting about the announcement by Polaroid to discontinue all of it's instant film in the coming year (take a look at this chart). There are many people shooting and relying on instant film and so naturally, a new campaign to "Save Polaroid" has started. Sign the petitions, even if you don't shoot polaroid, you may discover it in the future (like I was hoping to do).

D3 Jealousy
Have a look at the ISO these were shot at. There's almost no real noise at ISO 1600, and it's only minor at 3200. ISO 6400, is the new ISO 800 it seems.
