About Photub

We like digital photography, and we're pretty sure you do too if you're visiting the site. We're pretty sure our enthusiasm will rub off on you, if you're not excited about photography. Just stick around and keep reading.

Meet Andrew, at the current time the sole personality on Photub. When he's not developing web applications for a Philadelphia based Web Company, he's writing code and snapping digital photos. Andrew is just an amateur, but reads and learns as much as he can about photography. This is why he started Photub in 2006.

In Photub's current iteration, it is becoming more blog like. It's broken down, into Links, News and Articles. Photub readers from version 1, will be familiar with the Links and Articles, but the news is the most updated, most useful resource this time.

Last time, the type of links added to the site was limited to full fledged sites and not so much individual articles. Well, there isn't really a problem with that, but it limited Andrew to a limited number of posts. The number of quality sites is finite, but the number of good, timely articles and galleries is never ending. This iteration will focus more on the now, but of course provides archives and a great link database (most of them ported over from version 1).

Photub now keeps track of what links people visit. This allows the creation of the Popular Links and Unpopular Links pages.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you stick with us as long as it stays interesting (which, hopefully will be for years to come)
