Maybe You Need Some Photoshop Actions

Photoshop users who spend lots of time trying to get things just right, might be interested in some actions that do things right. I can't vouch for them since I haven't used them, but the examples look great, and perhaps your photos can too—with little to know post production work.

The Whale Hunt

I'm a huge fan of data visualization and unique interfaces (which I've probably mentioned before), so when I saw The Whale Hunt, my jaw dropped. Not only is it extremely innovative in the way it presents the story, it's also a great example of photography as documentary, or simply put, photojournalism.

The current version of Photub is turning 1 today. It's been a great year, and hopefully the year to come will be even bigger and better. Thanks for subscribing and reading! I always look forward to feedback and suggestions.

Photojojo has a holiday gift guide with some good ideas on the list. There's a camera bag with a solar panel (it puts out 1.5 watts which is enough to charge some small devices), a Polaroid instant camera, some books and of course something every photographer should have—a 50mm prime lens. There's a bunch more listed so be sure to check it out!
